Animator / Video Editor at Disruptive IT (PTY) LTD

Requirements:

• Already based in Durban to work in-office
• 2-5 years experience as an animator/ After Effects editor
• Thorough knowledge of Adobe After Effects & Premiere
• Basic understanding of Illustrator & Photoshop
• Editing footage (which you will be required to do from time to time)

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Working closely with our graphic design team, writer, creative director (and the occasional client) to bring visuals and storyboards to life
• Animating logos, storyboards, motion graphics
• Adapting After Effects templates to suit the video brief
• Creating videos for live events such as Awards Ceremonies, Conferences, Event Openings

Additional skills that will improve your application:

• Have an interest in 3D modelling
• Character rigging/animation a bonus
• Have a feel for animating/editing to music
• Experience in exporting optimal file formats
• Basic colour grading
• Basic sound mix
