    Area Sales Manager

    What’s the job?

    • In this role you will be responsible for the Sales in Africa, Central Europe and the Middle East.
    • You will develop the go-to-market plans and are in close contact with our channel partner and large account customers in the region,
    • You will join a global sales team specifically dedicated to our X-ray products.

    What are your responsibilities?

    • Provide business support to Channel Partner(s), both strategic and technical, to develop sales and achieve targets whilst ensuring customer satisfaction.
    • Achieve a high level of customer satisfaction, develop and strengthen long-term
    • Achieving win-win situations where a gap exists between customer demands and our current portfolio by co-creation with the Channel Partners.
    • Ensure Malvern Panalytical’s Code of Business Ethics are regularly communicated and discussed with Channel Partner(s)
    • Where required, establish relation with new Channel Partner’s market development, goals, contract negotiation, etc.
    • Mentoring new channel partner(s) recruits, providing
    • Develop programs to elevate Channel partner(s) ‘s technical, commercial and sales skills
    • In collaboration with Channel Partners identify opportunities for growth, provide all necessary support such as (not limited to) participate with local marketing activities, seminars, user days, customer meetings, etc.
    • In cooperation with the Channel Partner(s), take care of prospects throughout the sales proce
    • Definition of analytical problems and solutions
    • Organization of demonstrations, application work and local activities
    • Prepare quotations and lead sales and contract negotiations where required
    • Provide accurate business forecasting and

    What do you need to be successful in this role?

    • Technical background, preferably a bachelor’s degree in chemistry or mining
    • At least , preferably in a technical environment (mining, building materials)
    • Proactive attitude, proven and ambitious
    • Stress resistant
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Prepared to travel up to 50% of the time
    • Fluent in the English language, additional language skills are a plus

    The role is home office based in central Europe or Africa. Indeed we explicitly invite candidates from the mid to the south Africa to apply, but be aware that your English needs to be perfect.
