Purpose Statement

• To improve claims operational excellence, increase customer satisfaction, minimize losses for Capitec Insurance through accurate and holistic assessment of non-medical claims, including but not limited to Life and Non-Medical Credit Life Insurance claims ) in accordance with terms and conditions of the policy, S.A legislative frameworks and goals, objectives, processes and standards sets by Capitec Life

Experience

MINIMUM:

• More than 2 years practical experience in Life and Non-Medical Credit Life Insurance Claims Assessment

IDEAL:

• Practical experience on assessment of Life and Non-Medical Credit Life Insurance products
• Occupational certificate of course on long-term life Insurance Claims Assessor

Qualifications (Minimum)

• Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational

Qualifications (Ideal or Preferred)

• A relevant tertiary qualification in Business Administration or Forensics

Knowledge

MINIMUM:

• Understanding of the long-term insurance industry and claims handling processes and 
• Knowledge of Life and Non-Medical Credit Life Insurance Products
• Knowlege of relevant legal framework relating to funeral and life insurance claims

IDEAL:

• Practical experience on assessment of Life and Non-Medical Credit Life Insurance products
