Au Pair | Fourways | R9000 - R12 500 Per Month at Au Pair Extraordinaire

• Area: Fourways
• Children’s Ages: 4 year old Girl and 8 year old Boy
• Child’s Neurodivergence Snapshot: Son has ADHD and sensory sensitivities. He can become quite hyperactive and easily distracted, and at times experiences big emotions which can be difficult for him to regulate and move past.
• Support Style: Medication has made a significant positive difference and has been the most effective form of support for him. He previously attended Occupational Therapy, however the family did not find it particularly beneficial. He enjoys science experiments and outdoor activities, and while he also enjoys watching TV, the family prefers to limit screen time during the week.
• Working hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 13:00 – 16:00 Wednesday 13:00 – 17:00  
• School holiday hours: Same as above / Slightly Flexible (Family generally goes away once a year and may require house sitting in place of Au Pair duties) 
• Duties: Collect from school, take them to any extra murals, appointments or lessons, assist and oversee homework is done, prepare a light snack or meal, educational play and games and ensure bags are packed for the next day.
• Special Requirements: Someone responsible, reliable, patient, and understanding. Previous special needs experience would be highly beneficial; however, it is not essential, as the parents are very involved and will provide guidance and support on the best approaches and strategies to use with their son. 
• Start Date and contract term: ASAP – permanent
• Salary: R9000 - R12 500pm - depending on experience and any qualifications (Gross, before deductions) + SARS rates per km (R4.95)

All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:

• Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.
• Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.
• Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.
• Must have a clear criminal record
• Must have a passion for children
• Must have Matric
• Must have a South African ID document.
