Au Pair | Irene | R9000 Per Month at Au Pair Extraordinaire

• Working Hours: Monday and Wednesday 14:30 – 18:00, Tuesday and Thursday 14:00 – 18:00 and Friday 13:00 – 18:00
• School Holiday Hours: Same as above / Slightly Flexible
• Important Note: Mom has several work trips coming up, during which the Au Pair will need to provide additional support, including school drop-offs and overnight stays while Mom is away. Any additional hours worked during these periods will be paid as overtime, with a separate sleepover fee applicable. The confirmed travel dates are 8 – 25 September and 18 – 30 October.

• Children's Ages: 8 year old - (main priority) and 18 year old (ad hoc assistance) – Girls
• Working Hours: Monday and Wednesday 14:30 – 18:00, Tuesday and Thursday 14:00 – 18:00 and Friday 13:00 – 18:00
• School Holiday Hours: Same as above / Slightly Flexible
• Duties: The Au Pair will be responsible for collecting the children from school, transporting them to extra-mural activities, assisting with homework and preparing basic meals. She will also assist with general household and family errands as required. 18 year old daughter has her own transport to and from school in Kyalami however should her driver be unavailable, ad hoc drop offs / collections may be required.

• Occasional weekend work and babysitting may also be required from time to time, with reasonable prior notice and paid separately.
• Special Requirements: Female. The 8-year-old currently attends speech therapy at school to support her with the articulation of certain words. The ideal candidate should therefore be patient, nurturing and comfortable providing additional support where needed.
• Start Date & Contract Term: ASAP - permanent
• Salary: R9000pm (Gross, before deductions) + Overtime + SARS rates per km (R4.95)

All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:

• Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.
• Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.
• Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.
• Must have a clear criminal record
• Must have a passion for children
• Must have Matric
• Must have a South African ID document.
