Automation Consultant – Process Mining at Weir Minerals

Purpose of Role:

• Weir Group is accelerating its digital transformation and global growth strategy by embedding Intelligent Automation across its operations. As part of this journey, we are seeking a Senior Consultant – Process Mining (Intelligent Automation) to play a pivotal role in identifying, designing, and delivering automation solutions that drive efficiency, scalability, and innovation across the business.
• This role sits within the Intelligent Automation team in our Information Systems & Technology (IS&T) function and supports a wide range of business units globally. You will be at the forefront of our process mining initiatives, working closely with stakeholders to uncover opportunities, define future-state processes, and implement automation solutions using platforms such as Celonis and SAP.
• As a lead consultant, you will bridge the gap between business needs and technical execution, translating insights into actionable outcomes. You’ll be hands-on in solution development while also guiding teams through the “what, why, and how” of process transformation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the deployment of Celonis and UiPath Process Mining tools across various ERP systems, including SAP, Oracle, and Workday.
• Establish secure and efficient data connections using APIs or other integration methods.
• Conduct data analysis and validation sessions with business teams to ensure data accuracy and process integrity.
• Create comprehensive documentation for process models, data flows, automation logic, and integration points.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

• Experience in process mining, business process analysis, or intelligent automation, preferably within a global or enterprise environment.
• Proven track record of deploying Celonis Process Mining tools across ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Workday, or similar platforms.
• Experience in data integration and transformation, including working with APIs, SQL, and enterprise data sources.
• Demonstrated success in leading project workstreams, including managing scope, timelines, and stakeholder expectations.
