Baseline Enumerator at World Vision

Purpose of Positions: To collect information from households, individuals and the community at large, and gather the necessary information to complete the intended Baseline Evaluation and Rapid Assessment.  To also provide accurate information that is not biased.

Duration: 10 days for the baseline evaluation and 3 days for the Rapid assessment, during the month of February and March 2021

 Major Responsibilities:

• To collect accurate data in the assigned areas, households, centres and villages. Facilitate and conduct household survey
• Ensure that data collected is of good quality and make corrections where appropriate and or consult the supervisor for major corrections on the data.
• Planning and organizing data. Provide field report on a daily basis and incorporate comments/feedbacks from the respective supervisor
• Complete other activities as requested by the supervisor.
• Complete response sheet or form from the Focus Group Discussions (FGD), and Key Informant Interviews (KII) in English
• Perform other duties as required.

 Qualifications and other Competencies/Attributes/knowledge and Skills:

• Matric Certificate. A degree in social sciences, development studies, statistics and or any relevant field will be an added advantage.
• Must have experience on mobile data collection and preferably have own smart phone or device with internet access.
• The incumbent must have strong communication abilities (fluency in local language and English), networking and training skills are essential.
• Computer skills required.
• Willingness to travel within the project site.
• Applicants should be able to stand above denominational diversities of any faiths.
