    Benefits Lead - Midrand

    Role Purpose/Business Unit:

    Role reports to EHOD Reward & Benefits and is responsible and accountable for, amongst others, the following benefits within Vodacom South Africa:

    • Retirement Funding 
    • Risk benefits
    • Health Care
    • Disability Benefits
    • Funeral Plans
    • Employee Value Proposition
    • Any other Benefits

    Your responsibilities will include:

    • Communication to all stakeholders regarding these benefits, including employees, managers and Human Resources Business Partners. This includes taking ownership of the various Benefit Platforms
    • The coordination of the benefit representative forums (e.g. Trustee Meetings / Management Committee / Medical Aid Forum)Conduct Research i.e. Retirement & Health Care practices and trends, Benefit design, etc
    • Review the benefits being offered by Vodacom relative to market best practice and advise/recommend accordingly.
    • Evaluate and manage the services provided to Vodacom by the relevant service providers
    • Ensure that the most efficient and effective administration processes regarding benefits are in place.
    • Ensure that relevant stakeholders are adequately trained regarding benefit details and procedures
    • Design and implement a communication and capacity building plan to ensure that all employees and line managers are aware and understand the benefits available to them.
    • Provide input towards policy design and implementation.

    The ideal candidate for this role will have:

    • Matric
    • A formal qualification / Benefit related certification is essential
    • This could also be a related qualification with a compensation background e.g. Finance – thus not just HR related qualification Experience 
    • 5 – 8 years sound experience in benefit management
