Your Role and Responsibilities

• Kyndryl South Africa is a new start-up global multi-national company in South Africa. In order to embark on business development, Kyndryl SA needs to comply with B-BBEE legislation as defined by the Department of Trade and Industry. We are looking for a senior person who has experience in B-BBEE from defining the company strategy to implementation of the solution and running the operations
• As a B-BBEE Manager, you will apply your B-BBEE skills to build, implement, manage, operate the various elements of the scorecard for Kyndryl

Responsibilities will include :

• Building relationships with stakeholders such as but not limited to: DTI, agencies, advisory services, suppliers, institutions, etc
• Certified B-BBEE consultant with credentials to execute at a strategic level in the business
• Experience with having implemented B-BBEE various solutions with specialized experience in the ICT sector
• Develop the strategy and implement a sustainable solution to sustain compliance on an annual basis
• Ability to lead teams and manage resources to achieve effective control posture in the business
• Cognizant of compliance requirements so that the entire management and process must be documented, auditable and transparent
• Financial management of the scorecard and reporting against planned versus actual spend
• You will help define Kyndryl’s B-BBEE strategy and implement the solution
• You will implement the solution sustainably and define the structure required to support the solution
• You will manage and operate the end to end process with all required controls in place
• A self-driven, motivated, and hungry to over-achieve on both company and personal KPI’s
• Takes personal ownership of our business needs and delivers on promises in line with Kyndryl’s business
• Required to have an in-depth understanding of the B-BBEE elements that is Ownership, Management Control, Procurement, Enterprise/Supplier Development, Skills, and Socio-economic development aspects of the scorecard
• You will be responsible for developing specific requirements that address the B-BBEE strategy and deliver value to Kyndryl while supporting our business strategies. Our business model is driven by helping clients to secure and protect their current infrastructure investments but also to help them embark on a modernisation Journey to the Cloud.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• University Degree – preferable
• Minimum 6 years of ICT sector experience
• Strong knowledge and preference for certification of B-BBEE services
• Strong ability to negotiate with stakeholders across various areas of business and government
• Ability to develop strategies and tactics that will position Kyndryl to win business, including teaming arrangement, alliances, subcontractors, competitive strategies, tactics, and responses
• In-depth knowledge of the industry trends, directions, and goals as well as competitive strategies and offerings
• In-depth working knowledge of the industry and an ability to market Kyndryl solutions, products, and services that are specific to an industry
• Proven track record with engaging c-suite executives and key decision-makers in the B-BBEE environment

• Experience with working in a multi-national organisation within a matrix structure
• Personal ability to connect face to face with stakeholders
