Co-ordinator: Placement at University of Western Cape

Purpose of the Job

• Coordinate the entire student placement process on the RSMS and team of placement officers. 
• Develop and implement annual operational plans for the student accommodation applications, administration, placement, and allocation.
• Ensure strict adherence to the Readmission Placement Policy.
• Ensure strict monitoring of the process and evaluation of the process cycle annually.
• Report on progress to the Manager: Placement during peak times on weekly basis.
• Manage relationships with stakeholders regarding placement strategies within the institution.
• Collaborate with the Coordinator: Private Accommodation pertaining to movement of students.

Minimum Requirements

• Senior Certificate  
• Administration Degree or Advance Administration Diploma (NQF 7)
• 5 years demonstrated working experience in higher education 
• Knowledge and experience with on IT automated system
• Knowledge of student applications, placements and allocations in a mass student housing environment.
