Committee Officer at West Coast District Municipality

Job Purpose :

• Performing activities / tasks associated with an administrative and secretarial support service to the Council’s ad hoc and portfolio committees and assisting the Senior Committee Officer to ensure that resolutions be adhere to and to ensure an effective adinistrative suport service to the Council.

Qualifications :

• Grade 12 & Computer Literacy: MS Office

Experience:

• 1-2 years relevant experience required

Requirements : 

• Computer literate (MS Office) 
• Be able to work independently 
• Attention to detail
• Must be able to communicate in two of the three official languages of the Western Cape
• Good administration, typing and writing skills skills 
• Good logistical skills regarding meeting  related administration 
• Organizing Skills

Salary : R 280 726.30 – R 364 377.05 per annum (TASK grading 9)

Probation Period : 3 Months
