About the Role

• As a Controller for Vehicle Stock at Isuzu Vereeniging, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing vehicle inventory management processes to ensure optimal stock levels and efficient operations.
• This role focuses on inventory control, reporting, and collaboration with various departments to enhance vehicle stock management efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor vehicle stock levels and implement strategies to minimise shortages and overstock situations.
• Conduct regular audits of inventory and assist in maintaining accurate vehicle records in the management system.
• Collaborate with sales and service departments to understand demand patterns and forecast inventory needs effectively.
• Generate and analyse reports on vehicle stock performance, providing actionable insights to improve stock management processes.
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of vehicles.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements related to vehicle stock management.
• Train and support team members in inventory practices and procedures to enhance overall operational efficiency.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to streamline stock management processes.

Requirements

• Demonstrable experience in inventory management, preferably in the automotive industry.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate comprehensive reports.
• Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of vehicle specifications and market trends will be advantageous.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, or a related field.
• Previous experience in a controller or similar role within the automotive sector.
• Certification in inventory management or supply chain management would be an advantage.
