The Mimecast Governance and Certification Office (GCO) is looking for a Customer Framework Compliance Senior Analyst to aid in the trust and assurance conversation during the sales process.
This is a 5-month role based in RSA.
In this role you will be helping to support Mimecast’s sales team in responding to requests and questionnaires of all sizes, with a primary focus on large, enterprise customers.
The successful candidate will have experience working at a software company and responding to Tenders, RFPs, RFIs, and security questionnaires. The Customer Framework Compliance Senior Analyst will work with Sales in the review of Restricted Party Screening (RPS) alerts.
The individual will consult with subject matter experts and the GCO team to compile responses to customer enquiries and support employees at all levels.
The Customer Framework Compliance area is a fast paced and highly demanding environment. Candidates must be proactive and capable of multi-tasking under pressure with limited oversight from management. The ability to be resourceful and learn on the job is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Work as a first point of contact with Go-to-Market, Legal and GCO itself to provide accurate updates to all requests.
Respond to customer RFIs, RFPs and security questionnaires within the specified SLAs.
Coordinate recurring quality control checks and updates on RFP/RFI response library and other repositories often used in response development.
Manage timescales, expectations, and interpersonal relationships.
Work effectively with internal subject matter experts to develop consistent, compelling responses to satisfy proposal requirements.
Review Restricted Party Screening alerts and escalate as necessary.
Support the delivery of GCO objectives.
Review, register and allocate requests from the GTM team.
Engaging in various projects to enhance professional development.
Essential Skills and Experience:
A degree or equivalent experience is required.
1-2 years experience in Tender/RFP/RFI/ security questionnaire management in a technology environment or for a software company.
High level of knowledge of general IT, Networking, and Information Security.
Robust knowledge of industry certifications and regulations (SOC 2, ISO, GDPR, etc.)
Demonstrates outstanding written and verbal communication skills, effectively engaging with employees at all levels across the global organization.
Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills.
Skilled in prioritizing workloads and working independently, while also excelling in a collaborative team environment.
Capable of multitasking and working under pressure to meet deadlines.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and, optionally, Salesforce.
Flexibility to shift working hours on occasion to support North America Sales Team as needed. (Estimate 20% of workdays will start and end 2-3 hours later than normal 9-6 workday).
Due to the remote nature of these hours, a consistantly stable internet connection is required.
