Customer Service Officer – Online Shop at Babylonstoren

About the Job

• Babylonstoren has an exciting opportunity for a passionate, friendly customer service officer with professional work ethic. The successful candidate will join the online shop’s dynamic team.

Requirements

• A completed National Senior Certificate qualification (matric / Grade 12).
• A relevant tertiary qualification would be advantageous.
• At least two years’ experience in customer services with an e-commerce background would be advantageous.
• An engaging disposition with professional telephone etiquette, and the ability to maintain positive interpersonal relations.
• Fluent in Afrikaans and English, with good written and verbal communication skills.
• Computer literate.
• Must be able to work under immense pressure.
• Ability to multitask.
• Neat.
• Team-player attitude.
• Available to work over weekends.

Responsibilities

• Receive telephone calls.
• Handle queries via e-mail and telephonically.
• Handle personal shopper functions and errands.
• Administer the online shop’s support platforms (Zendesk, Freshdesk, etc.).
• Handle daily administrative tasks in support of the operational team.
