Driver: Reach Truck- Plumbago Tiger Brands at DHL

Job Purpose:

• To safely and accurately move pallets of stock between locations by following instructions from WMS via RF connected devices.               

Key Responsibilities

• To ensure that damages are kept to a minimum.
• Record any non-conformance/incident /damages Immediately.
• Assist with the induction and training of new staff as and when required.
• Complying with company policies and procedures.
• Perform administration tasks in line with SOP.

• Processing paperwork - as required.
• Working within a physically demanding environment.
• Operating of Mechanical Handling Equipment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
• Full pallet picking, put away, stock moves and replenishment of stocks.
• Assist with cycle counting & stock counts.
• Clearing of production line.
• Preparing orders and loading /offloading of vehicles and containers as prioritized.
• Timeous and accurate completion of tasks- managing of put-away together with the Receiving, Inventory, & Dispatch Clerk.
• Record the number of pallets moved in a day and daily hand in this spreadsheet to the relevant person.
• Immediately report discrepancies, incidents, non - conformances and damages.
• Timeous and accurate completion of tasks.
• Report any person’s behaviour that may impact on the safety, quality and integrity of the stored product.
• Always wear the Company uniform with pride, ensuring that the uniform is clean and presentable.
• Perform administration tasks in line with SOP.
• Partake in the stock count process.
• Logistics and warehouse experience.
• Product Knowledge.
• Divisional Experience.
• Understanding the product specifications when performing racking and bulk staking.                                                                                                                 

Experience                                                                                                           

• +/- 3years Logistics / Warehousing experience
• Accurate data capturing                                                                                                                                                  
• Attention to detail                                                                                                                                                                                
• Good written and communication skills                                                                                               
• Enforcement of Health and Safety procedures and identify hazards                                    
• Achieve work targets and is willing to take on additional roles / responsibilities
• Ability to work under pressure                                                                                                
• SAP system Knowledge and Experience

Requirements

• Matric                                                                                                                                                                     
• Valid Reach Truck License
• 3-year experience in a similar role and environment
