Because when you succeed, we succeed.  Rockwell Automation South Africa is currently seeking the services of a highly experienced and competent Engineering Team Lead for our South African office. The incumbent will be servicing the Mozambique territory and establishments.

Responsibilities

• Directs the activities of an integrated hardware/software systems design function.
• Designs and develops electronic, electro-mechanical equipment or systems-oriented products, and prepares related installation, operation, and maintenance specifications and instructions.
• Conducts feasibility studies on engineering proposals and related technical data for assigning new equipment or modifying existing equipment.
• Collects operational data and prepares customer application information.
• Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
• Travelling to our Mozambique establishment on a regular basis (travelling 80% of the year)

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Engineering discipline (Electrical or Electronic engineering)
• Previous people management experience required 5 to 8 years of experience
• Extensive experience with control systems application
• Proven success at simultaneously managing multiple complex customer projects
• Extensive experience with direct customer contact and suppliers
• Must be accustomed to regular travel and in possession of a Valid SA passport and SA driver's license
• Candidates that apply must have the appropriate right to work permissions to commence duties in the country concerned
