What you’ll be doing

As part of your role, your responsibilities will include:

• Develop cutting-edge software using the latest development tools and frameworks.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze specifications and complete technical documentation.
• Unit-test all software artifacts.
• Maintain and update current systems and develop new systems using the latest technologies. 
• Collaborate with Product Owners and QA Engineers in developing, testing, and deploying systems components.
• Research and develop new technologies.
• Provide second/third line support to IT for software deployed into company eco system.
• Analyse and resolve complex and high impact production issues where required.
• Monitor systems performance and ensure all SLA’s are met.
• Assist with technical documentation.
• Ensure timely delivery of software solutions that meet quality standards.

Essential skills you’ll bring to the table

The necessary skills that we require for this role include:

• 3 years’+ experience hands-on development experience.
• Experience in working with agile teams and successfully delivering agile based software projects.
• Be prepared to work in a 24/7 environment.
• Proven experience with Source control concepts (Merging, Branching, Publishing)
• Proven experience in internet technology and web development.
• Proven experience in coding with an understanding of system architectures and knowledge of SOA.
• Knowledge of OO, development methodologies and applying patterns.
• Ability to work alongside Architects to integrate and propose viable solutions to business.
• Data Stores: MS SQL Server, MongoDB
• Software: C#,.Net core, Angular, XML, REST, HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, JSON, Stored Procedures, Visual Studio.

Desirable skills you’ve got up your sleeve

It would be great if you also have some of the following skills:

• Computer Science related degree, diploma or similar qualification.
• Working experience with Gitlab
