Graphic Design Tutor at Eduvos

The Position:
We are looking to recruit a tutor for information technology to assist with the facilitation of Graphic Design modules.
In order to be considered for the opportunity, the following pre-requisites must be met:

• A graduate in the relevant programme (Bachelors in Graphic Design)
• Maintained an average of 65% minimum for all modules

Additional notes:

• This is a part-time opportunity and the successful candidates will be remunerated per hour of tutoring.
• Training will be implemented for the duties and responsibilities concerned

Responsibilities:

•  Support the students on campus to improve their academic success in their respective modules
• Support and give academic advice to students in the various information technology modules
• Prepare for tutoring sessions by reviewing module content and assignments
• Create educational materials to further demonstrate subject matter to be covered in tutoring sessions
• Assist students to liaise with all relevant stakeholders in respect of any other academic support functions and challenges
• To discuss challenges with students and present interventions regularly
• Support students with study strategies and techniques to enhance academic success
• Support the evaluation, monitoring and tracking of academic support interventions, to measure the impact on academic success.
• Tutors will participate in all tutor training and evaluation sessions related to their duties and or other support interventions with subject/module lecturers, programme managers and the academic support advising lead
