The requirements for the role are:

• An Honours Degree, Post Graduate Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; an MBA degree is preferred.
• 15+ years of proven experience in a senior leadership role within logistics, supply chain, or e-commerce fulfilment.

Your responsibilities will include:

Business solutions:

• Lead the design and implementation of innovative solutions to address client needs and market demands.
• Oversee the integration of technology and data analytics into business solutions to optimise performance.
• Pull together internal and external stakeholders to improve processes and the divisions core competencies.
• Lead research and development initiatives to ensure the division remains best in class, creating a competitive edge.

Project management:

• Lead cross-functional project teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time,within scope, and budget.
• Lead and ensure the onboarding of clients before handover to Account Management 

Business development and strategy:

• Build strategic working relationships with clients to ensure that their specific requirements are addressed, to monitor and grow existing business
• Identify, generate, and implement new business opportunities on an ongoing basis to achieve predetermined targets.
• Represent the division at trade shows and supervise the marketing elements to promote the business.
• Analysed market trends and customers need to identify new business opportunities and areas for expansion.
• Ensure the effective use of data analytics and business intelligence to inform decision-making and drive strategic business improvements.
• Monitor and report on business performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement
