Head of Compliance, West Region at Standard Bank Group

Job Description

• To lead and drive the execution of the Compliance plan, across a dedicated geographical region, through the implementation of the appropriate frameworks, minimum standards and processes required to manage all aspects of compliance risk across the entire region and ensure effective alignment across countries.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Post Graduate Degree in Audit, Legal or Risk Management

• Compliance
• Ability to communicate in French or Portuguese
• More than 10 years - The role requires a seasoned expert in Compliance with a sound knowledge of the relevant regulatory requirements and upcoming developments applicable to a specific business region as well as a solid understanding of banking products and activities.
• To drive an effectively compliant function, an influential leader is required with a proven track record in leading a Functional team of Compliance resources.
