Head of Data Science
- Job Type Full Time
- Qualification Bachelors , Masters
- Experience 8 - 10 years
- Location Western Cape
- Job Field Data, Business Analysis and AI
Key Requirements:
- A university degree in a relevant field (Commerce, Engineering, or a Numerical subject); Honours or Masters preferred.
- 8-10 years of experience in Advanced Analytics with at least 5-7 years in a senior management role.
- Proven expertise in leading data science teams and guiding the development of analytical models.
- Retail experience is a PLUS, along with strong stakeholder management and agile work practices.
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex data insights into actionable business strategies.
- Hands on experience in working with Python, SQL, and AWS/Azure.
- Skills in Azure Studio and/or GenerativeAI is a big PLUS!
