    Job Responsibilities

    • Overall accountable for Greater China People and Talent Strategy and all related solutions, acting as Greater China local solution owner & global contributor working with local senior management, including Greater China CEO and his leadership team to ensure that People and Talent strategy and related initiatives are bestinclass to attract, select, develop, motivate, and retain employees and top notch talents to drive desired business outcomes as well as employee growth. 
    • Act as the Greater China partner as well as representative for Global Talent, Learning & OD community and contribute to development of global solutions.
    • Responsible for Greater China People and Talent Strategy in alignment with BI Our FOCUS framework and Greater China Vision 2030 by driving leadership effectiveness, developing talent pipelines for the future, and driving employee engagement and retention.
    • Add value to the business through the delivery of innovative, future focused talent and leadership development strategy for Greater China to enhance employee attraction, development, retention and engagement.
    • Provide internal talent and OD consulting, insights and solutions to the leadership team and Greater China functions to addresses business challenges and contribute to the development and attainment of successful business results.
    • Plan and develop the best possible overall talent (including D&I) approaches as well as develop and review talent and leadership programs/ solutions for the present and the future positioning of Greater China in line with BI Global Talent, approach, procedures, guidelines and local business strategies
    • Responsible for managing the overall analysis of the talent needs and developing plans and programs to meet those needs. Oversee development of talent learning and development programs and plans, including the selection and use of outside providers as needed.
    • Drive development, design and implementation of the processes, frameworks and tools to build teams and organizational capability, improve leadership supply and organization effectiveness. Solutions include, but are not limited to, organization analysis and design, change management, leadership and management training, team performance, leader assessment and coaching.
    • Manage the endtoend steering of Greater China Talent solutions (as outlined in Greater China People and Talent Strategy) to ensure global standards are adherent with local solution requirements.
    • Manage and steer Greater China Talent processes (i.e. PM, talent discussions, Local and Global Learning and Leadership Programs, leadership development and engagements etc.) implemented following global as well as local standards and guideline
    • Develop and administrate new talent and capability development programs while maintaining and/or adjusting existing programs as needed. Identify, together with the department heads, the training needs of the organization, and implement overall Greater China learning strategy to upgrade organizational capabilities across levels
    • Drive the overall planning and management of all Greater China HR projects as the Greater China HR PMO and liaise with Corporate HR PMO team to comply with the global HR planning and management processes

    Qualifications

    • Solid Talent & Leadership Development, and OD experience, + 10 years ideally in a multinational environment. 
    • Deep knowledge about talent development, leadership effectiveness, and performance management concepts and broad understanding how its elements are developed according to business needs and country rules and regulations. 
    • Experienced in working in a complex environment and regional set up. 
    • Strong communication skills to manage local senior stakeholders as well as work with Global / Corporate stakeholders
    • Comprehensive experience and understanding of local talent landscape and how it relates to overall business performance
    • Big picture understanding and business acumen
    • High degree of data analysis, interpretation, reporting, and problemsolving skills
    • Strong ethics and a high degree of discretion
    • Strong leadership competencies and people management skills
    • Excellent collaboration skills to work across sub teams in the HR function and across others functions in Greater CHina
    • Very good project management skills
    • Excellent intercultural skills and sound understanding of crosscultural aspects
