    HRD LMS System Specialist (IVP-HRD-2612)

    Job Description

    • IVANPLATS (Pty) Ltd, a subsidiary of Ivanhoe Mines, is advancing the development of its world-class palladium-rhodium-nickel-copper-gold project in the Limpopo Province near Mokopane. This unique mineral deposit will be exploited using large mechanised state-of-the-art underground mining methods, deploying the latest technology to   develop this “mine of the future”. Suitably qualified and experienced candidates are invited to apply for the following vacancies required for the project development.

    Suitable candidates must possess the following minimum qualifications and skills:

    • Grade 12 Certificate
    • Code 08 driver’s license
    • Computer Literacy (MS Office packages)
    • Sequel Scripting, database design and management of the database.
    • Software Architecture and integrations.
    • Thorough Server Maintenance Experience.
    • Competent in mine HRD and HR systems and Learner Management Systems.
    • Must have knowledge in ISO 9001:2015.
    • Competent and experienced in process / procedure to support the Learner Management System.

    Suitable candidates must have the following work experience:

    • At least five years’ experience in a HRD Learning Management System function.

    The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not be limited to:

    • Provides input into LMS.
    • Supports line management in the training requirement of approved Standard operating procedures and MCOP’s, establishing competence for role and organizational culture.
    • Ensure consistent and fair application of discipline within the area of responsibility.
    • Training resources in compliance with best practice.
    • Comply to the required control and information systems and to track the operation performance.
    • Promotes Corporate Governance and Company policies and procedures.
    • Initiates activities that build morale, improve workplace relationships, and boost productivity and retention.
    • Interprets human resources policies and procedures and provides guidance to employees and management on such
