    Human Resources Officer, Southern and West Africa

    Full Job Description

    The HR Officer should also have excellent administrative skills and easily communicate with staff at all levels. The HR Officer should be observant and proactive and work autonomously and efficiently to ensure the end-to-end running of HR operations. In addition, should be capable of planning and leading HR projects and initiatives. Ultimately, able to contribute to the attainment of specific goals and results of the HR department and the organization.

    What will be my primary responsibilities in this role:

    Talent Management

    • Manage the new starters and leavers processes.
    • Conduct the onboarding process – new hire inductions, employee documentation completion.
    • Complete the off-boarding process for leavers – communicate changes to HRIS team efficiently
    • Coordinating with Talent Acquisition team for interviews and appointment documentaiton.

    Diversity, Equity and Inclusion

    • Respond to internal and external HR related inquiries or requests and help to employees on all levels.
    • Perform orientations and HR presentations.
    • Identify and address employees’ requirements regarding performance issues, training, and career growth.
    • Support DE&I mandate
    • Plan and lead HR projects and initiatives.

    HR Operations

    • Conduct HR roundtables and HR feedback meetings by regular site visits
    • Manage and control country labour law compliance processes
    • Promote equality and diversity as part of the culture of the organization.
    • Ensure the HR function and service are continuously improving and developing.
    • Liaise with other departments or functions (payroll, benefits, finance etc.).
    • General Administrative and travel coordination support to Snr HR Manager, Africa and Africa Country managers.

    What do I need to qualify for this role:

    • BCom Human Resource Management or equivalent would be preferred
    • Minimum 3-5 Years’ Experience in Human Resources in a Large Organization
