    Implementation Scoping Analyst

    The Implementation Scoping Analyst will be responsible for the following:

    • Ensure scoping projects are completed accurately, efficiently, and effectively
    • Liaise with Project Managers, IEs, Outsourced Integrators and Vendors as to project scoping requirements
    • Accountability for the overall quality of work output
    • Providing updates to Implementation manager, team leads and project managers as to the status of work
    • Flexibility and willingness to work according to changing schedules. The general work hours would be 10am - 7pm, however from time to time we may require flexibility as operationally required
    • Integrating and encouraging a good team work ethic
    • Reviewing and accurately measuring various metrics from scaled drawings and converting measurements to the correct metric (for example, converting centimetres to feet)
    • The typical day-to-day job will entail receiving floor plans and/or photographs of planned deployments from project managers, and taking the following steps:
      • Reviewing and interpreting the quality of resources provided
      • Understanding the scope of work (what are we selling to this store/customer?)
      • Determining the type and colour of the ceiling, the height of the ceiling and the width of the entrance for each sensor coverage zone from the floor plan
      • Calculating the quantity of sensors required for sufficient coverage, as well as the hardware to be used and shipped to the store, with reference to the floor plan
      • Marking up the existing floor plan with indications of where each sensor will be placed and writing up the related hardware list for shipment
      • Validating and double-checking scopes after completion
      • Documenting completed scopes according to RetailNext standards and communicating/updating the project managers and scoping trackers.
    • Facilitate training for all new outsourced integrators
    • Be the point of contact (P.O.C) for scoping escalations

    Baseline Competencies

    • High attention to detail
    • Keen ability to read, interpret and mark-up all types of floor plans
    • Ability to work independently without supervision
    • Basic computer skills (email, Excel, Google etc.)
    • Good communication skills (written and spoken)
    • Basic mathematical competencies
    • Calm under pressure

    Nice-to-have Competencies

    • Experience with the physical installation of devices and hardware
    • Inclination and experience on computers and IT
    • Experience with reading and interpreting AutoCad (dwg) drawings
    • Experience working with Adobe Acrobat Reader measuring tool
    • Experience working with Google Suite (Sheets, Slides, Docs etc.)
    • Have Network Plus certification or experience
