    Junior Bookkeeper and Reception

    • Hire Resolve is seeking a professional and versatile Junior Bookkeeper & Receptionist to join a premium architectural systems company at their Midrand branch. This role is a unique blend of frontline client engagement and essential financial administration, perfect for a detail-oriented individual looking to grow within a high-end manufacturing and design environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Front-of-House Excellence: Serve as the first point of contact for clients and visitors, managing the switchboard, greeting guests, and ensuring a professional reception area.
    • Financial Administration: Assist the finance team with the processing of supplier invoices, capturing data into the accounting system, and maintaining accurate financial records.
    • Debtors & Creditors Support: Help manage accounts receivable and payable functions, including following up on outstanding payments and reconciling statements.
    • Office Coordination: Manage incoming and outgoing courier services, order office supplies, and provide general administrative support to the Midrand team.
    • Document Management: Ensure all financial and project-related documentation is filed correctly and is easily accessible for audits.

    Requirements:

    • Experience: 2–3 years of experience in a dual Reception and Bookkeeping/Accounts Assistant role.
    • Education: Grade 12 essential; a Certificate or Diploma in Bookkeeping or Accounting is highly advantageous.
    • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Excel is a must) and experience with accounting software (e.g., Pastel, Xero, or SAP).
    • Professionalism: Exceptional telephone etiquette and a polished, professional appearance suitable for a high-end showroom environment.
    • Attributes: High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multitask effectively between administrative and financial duties.
    • Location: Must be based in or near Midrand for onsite work.
