• Collect, organize, and analyse data from various sources, including sales, inventory, customer behaviours, and market trends.
• Develop accurate sales forecasts and demand projections to optimize inventory levels and reduce overstock or understock situations.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sales, customer traffic, and product performance. Identify trends and provide actionable insights.
• Research and analyse competitor strategies, pricing, and market positioning to identify opportunities and threats.
• Collaborate with the merchandising team to make data-driven recommendations for product assortment, pricing, and promotions.
• Analyse customer data to identify purchasing patterns and preferences, enabling better customer segmentation and targeted marketing strategies.
• Prepare regular reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to the management team.
• Utilize data analysis tools and software to enhance efficiency and accuracy in data analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.

Requirements

• Grade 12
• A bachelor's degree in business, economics, finance, statistics, or a related field.
• 2 years’ experience working in the retail industry, market research, or data analysis
