Strong accounting background plus minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar position and environment
Proficiency in Business English
Computer literacy, including MS Office and Pastel accounting (or similar)
Syspro experience would be advantageous.
Brief Description of Key Performance Area
Confirmation of payments
Card payments allocation
Manage internal accounts – recon and allocations.
Update client details
Manage and allocate age analysis.
Process manual invoices, credit notes and debit notes.
Investigate internal accounts queries.
Financial reporting
Assist COD team with accounts queries.
General assistance to Supervisor and team members
Ensure that all tasks are executed in a safe manner with due regard for Amrod’s policies and procedures, regulations specific to the use of equipment and products and regulations prescribed by the Occupational Health & Safety Act.
Report unsafe acts / working conditions / injury on duty to the supervisor immediately.
