    Junior HR Officer : Talent Acquisition (Fixed Term Contract) - Durban

    Recruitment Preparation, Administration and Process

    • Collaborates with Hiring Managers to gain a clear understanding of the job profile, their hiring needs and the best ways to fill those needs.
    • Advertises approved vacancies both internally and externally.
    • Disseminates job specs to recruitment agencies, briefs agencies on the job spec, arranges interviews and acts as a point of contact for the receipt of applications and providing candidate feedback.
    • Provides Hiring Managers with shortlisted candidates.
    • Conducts telephonic interviews for the National Office.
    • Performs preliminary face-to-face interviews with all shortlisted candidates for the National Office
    • Arranges interviews for the National Office, ensuring the interview matrix is followed.
    • Manages all candidates through the recruitment and selection process, ensuring a high level of candidate care.
    • Implements and oversees the recruitment checklist to support the recruitment process.
    • Checks all Authority to Appoint (ATA) supporting documentation across The IIE's Varsity College to ensure that they are aligned with audit and payroll requirements.
    • Compilation and analysis of recruitment statistics and data
    • Checking and processes of all recruitment related invoices
    • Conducts MIE and candidate reference checks for the National Office.
    • Flagging areas of concern with management and the HR Manager for feedback and guidance on the way forward.
    • Compilation of P41 for advertising purposes
    • Providing candidates with interview feedback for the National Office.
    • Recruitment system management
    • Ensures recruitment agencies adhere to the agreed recruitment processes and policies.
    • Compiling monthly employee announcements and newsletter

    Recruitment Communication

    • Liaising with relevant stakeholders for feedback throughout the recruitment process.
    • Providing candidates with interview feedback for the National Office.
    • Handling of queries throughout the recruitment process.
    • Effective communication and engagement with candidates through social media platforms.
    • Disqualifies unsuitable candidates and sends out regret emails.
    • Markets and sells The IIE's Varsity College values to the prospective candidates.

    Recruitment Training and Development

    • Facilitate monthly Recruitment system training to relevant Hiring Managers and HR Staff.

    Psychometric Testing

    • Arranges the relevant psychometric assessments for all vacancies.
    • Provides additional feedback and input regarding the psychometric reports to hiring managers.

    Minimum Qualification:

    • Minimum of a Relevant HR related or Business Degree or three-year Diploma

    Minimum Work Experience:

    • Minimum of 1 - 2 years Talent Acquisition recruitment administration experience
    • Must have knowledge or worked on Recruitment Systems
