Honours in Industrial Psychology coupled with registration as a Psychometrist Independent Practice with the Health Professions Council of South Africa
1 to 2 years’ experience as a registered Psychometrist. Experience should include behavioural evaluation, assessment administration, compilation of reports and feedback to management and candidates
Discipline specific skills such as being certified in the use of psychometric instruments typically utilized by the City of Cape Town e.g. SHL’s OPQ and Ability Tests

Key Performance Areas
Liaising with HR Practitioners, Service Providers, candidates and line managers to ensure assessments and feedbacks take place at appropriate times and venues, as well as virtually
Ensure set up of all material and ensure systems are in place for the efficient running of the assessment process, face-to-face and virtually
Assess candidates in line with Health Professions Council of SA regulations
Test administration, scoring and role-playing, as well as observation and evaluation)
Prepare assessment folders/documents for report writing and safe guarding of information
Support Service Providers who administer Management Development Centres
Write assessment summary reports under supervision of Psychologist
Provide assessment feedback to clients and candidates at junior levels
Capture, store and report on assessment data as required
Stay abreast of changes in research and development of psychometric assessments and keep CPD units up to date
