Job Description    
Duties and Responsibilities

• Collecting, receiving, labelling, and/or analysing samples using the correct testing equipment.
• Conduct testing in line with standard testing procedures, recording observations, and reporting findings.
• Recording all data and test results accurately and in the specified format (written and/or electronic.)
• Organising and storing samples according to safety instructions.
• Ensuring that safety guidelines are adhered to at all times within the laboratory.
• Cleaning, maintaining and calibrating laboratory equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned

Inherent Requirements    

• Education: Grade 12 plus 1-2 years’ experience in quality control/a laboratory environment
• A keen attention to detail.
• Able to work as part of a team.
• A keen eye for detail.
• Computer literacy.
• The ability to closely follow quality standards.
