Lecturer (nGAP): Discipline of Pharmaceutical Sciences at University of Kwazulu Natal

Responsibilities for this job:

 Teaching: based on own knowledge and expertise in the discipline. This could include consultation, collaboration involvement in policy processes  or projects.

Administration:

•  Become familiar with the relevant University policies and to implement them appropriately. 
• Responsible for teaching administration within the discipline as per teaching responsibilities delegated by the Dean & Head of School. 
• Manage own teaching & research programs efficiently; keeping adequate records of teaching; student performance and other aspects of       functioning;
• conduct other administrative duties as delegated by the Head of discipline/Academic Leader;
• Maintain own professional registration, if applicable.

General: 

• Show willingness to embrace the ethos and philosophy of the School and the University;
• any other responsibilities and functions that may be delegated by the Head of Discipline; Academic Leader or Dean & Head of School within the scope of the competencies of this profile.        

Minimum requirements:

• All applicants must have an undergraduate degree in Pharmacy;
• A relevant Master's degree;
• Registration with the South African Pharmacy Council;
• Computer literacy
