Key performance areas:
Receive verbal instructions from the immediate superior on the work programme and/or priorities related to specific departments and/or communicate specific cleaning material requirements
Commence with cleaning sequence, mix and use chemical detergents to remove stains/dirt from painted/polished or carpeted surfaces Vacuum carpets or, sweep floors, dust and tidy desktops and shelves
Empty waste from collecting bins, load into refuse bags and remove to designated collection points.
Clean ablution facilities, mop floors and wipe ceramic surfaces, replace toilet rolls, towels, etc. and check and report defective items to the immediate superior for attention Remove and wash off debris from tools, containers, etc. apply disinfectants.
Place and stack tools in designated storage areas and/or verbal reporting the condition/status of tools to the immediate superior.
