Job Description

The Load Master will be responsible for daily supervision of entire Warehousing and Distribution functions on site.

Qualification Requirements    

• Grade 12 / Matric with Maths.

Experience Requirements    

• At least 2-3 years previous experience in Logistics / Warehouse department
• FMCG environment
• Computer literate

Skills and Competencies    

• Supervision of all warehousing and distribution functions.
• Invoicing transfers financial records and GRVs.
• Maintain all relevant documentation, check lists and registers daily.
• Supervision of all loading.
• Stock Management.
• Supervision and maintenance of warehouse equipment.
• Ensuring compliance to Health and Safety regulations and transport standards.
• Assist with investigation of stock and pallet variances.
• Coordinate with drivers and transportation teams for efficient operations.
• Ensure products are properly secured to prevent damage to prevent damage during transit, calculate weight and balance.
• Managing CHEP pallet accounts

Working Conditions    

• Availability for excessive working hours, including weekends and shifts, as required by the role.
• Ability to work in a pressurized environment.
• Own transportation to commute to work locations or travel as necessary.
