Manager Archives & Records, Officer Administration and Customer Care at Gamagara Local Municipality

Requirements:

• A relevant Tertiary qualification preferably an appropriate bachelor’s degree or Information / Records Management qualification; Relevant training presented by the National Archives and Records Service (NARS)will be an added advantage; Valid Driver’s License Code B; Proficiency in MS Office applications; Excellent organizational and administrative skills; Excellent analytic and problem-solving ability; High level of integrity, responsibility and confidentiality; Have ability to give attention to detail and be able to work under pressure; Report writing; Communication Skills; Ability to deal with conflict situations; Excellent Negotiation skills.

Duties:

• Implements and maintains procedures and systems associated with controlling the flow of functional documentation and correspondence; Controls the Key Performance Indicator’s and outcomes of personnel within the Section; Manages the implementation of financial Controls/ procedures and provides information to support financial planning sequences; Manages specific administrative activities/ tasks; In order to ensure administrative guidelines and procedures are complied with and specific reporting deadlines adhered to.
