Manager: Environmental Health (Two Positions) at Nelson Mandela Bay Metro

Qualifications and experience required:

• A National Diploma, preferably a B.Tech in Environmental Health.
• Registration as an Environmental Health Practitioner with Health Professions Council of South Africa.
• Registered Peace Officer.
• A valid Code B driver’s licence.
• Eight years relevant work experience with at least three years at managerial level.

Key attributes and competencies:

• Proficient oral and written communication skills in English and at least one other official local language.
• Good interpersonal, communication and managerial skills.
• Ability to plan, formulate and implement policies or programmes.
• Excellent report-writing and presentation skills.
• High level of attention to detail.

Special conditions associated with the position:

• Must be physically fit and able-bodied.
