Our client is building a centralised data warehouse to enable data-driven decision-making across conservation, operations, and finance. The Microsoft Fabric Specialist’s role focuses on Microsoft Fabric and the data layer, ensuring reliable ingestion, governance, and usability of data across systems.
DUTIES:
Design and manage data pipelines into the data warehouse (Microsoft Fabric)
Support the Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold layers)
Ensure data integrity, validation, and anomaly detection across pipelines
Implement data governance, lineage, and classification frameworks
Work closely with BI and Analytics teams to support reporting and dashboards
Manage integration between source systems and Fabric environment
Implement data security and compliance controls

REQUIREMENTS:
4+ years’ experience in data engineering or data architecture
Strong experience with data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes
Experience working with Microsoft Fabric or similar platforms
Strong SQL and data modelling skills
Experience with data governance and data quality frameworks
Advantageous:
DP-700 (Fabric Data Engineer)
DP-203 / DP-600
Experience with Power BI and analytics environments
