    Mid Copywriter

    You should keep up to date with the best practices and trends in copywriting and boast excellent research, writing, and proofreading skills. Proven experience in copywriting in a B2B environment and a Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, or a related field is a must.

    Responsibilities

    • Writing engaging copy tailored to a business audience
    • Ensuring that all content is on-brand, with a consistent style, quality, and tone of voice
    • Creating high-quality content with little supervision and minimum revisions
    • Ensuring that brand and messaging guidelines are followed
    • Conducting independent research and consulting with subject matter experts to tweak your copy
    • Collaborating with the design team to create eye-catching graphics that support the copy
    • Keeping an eye on the latest trends in the industry and implementing the best copywriting practices
    • Continually raising the bar on creativity, writing fresh copy quickly that connects with our desired audience and drives action
    • Taking a data-driven approach to producing copy by identifying, tracking, and reporting on key metrics related to the content being distributed.

    Requirements and skills

    • 3+ years of B2B writing experience
    • Ability to tailor copy to our target audience in each stage of the sales funnel
    • Superior command of the English language
    • Understanding the business-to-business sales process
    • A proven background in supporting multi-channel marketing campaigns, strong understanding of digital content, influencer, PR, CRM and SEO marketing
    • Expert knowledge of B2B marketing principles
    • Excellent writing, self-editing, and research skills
    • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
    • Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, or a related field
    • Previous experience working in a startup environment

    Our application process

    • A face-to-face/online technical interview, possibly a whiteboard problem or take-home assignment.

    • Reference checks (at least 2) and personal checks (socials, networks etc).
