Multimedia/ Production Manager at Shaw Academy

Shaw Academy is currently seeking a Multimedia / Production Manager to manage our expanding team of graphic designers, learning designers and video editors. The primary role will be to manage the workflow of the team who work alongside our educators and subject matter experts to deliver our course material and lessons within a very tight timeline.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitoring, managing and allocating work to the production team to ensure that all time frames and targets are achieved
• Reviewing the production process to ensure that there are no pinch points in the process that will delay the delivery of the finished product
• Work with the design team to continue to refine and strengthen our lesson identity in line with our corporate brand
• Ensure consistency across the design and video editing team providing a closed feedback cycle for continuous improvement
• Manage the day to day operations of the team
• Jump in and assist the design teams during periods of high demand and high output requirements
• Liaise with the marketing and content management teams for any marketing project requirements and ensure timeous delivery of material.

Essential skills you will need to do the job:

• Team management experience - non negotiable
• Previous experience working in an ed tech company or online education sector would be a terrific advantage.
• Have a proven track record of dealing with different stakeholders in a production environment, completing workflow management and achieving targets and deliverables.
• Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage and track team outputs and deliverables
• Problem solving skills that may arise in the daily operations of the team
• Attention to detail and the ability to quickly spot errors and correct them
• Proficiency with required desktop publishing tools, including MS PowerPoint, Adobe CC including InDesign, Illustrator, After Effects. Adobe Captivate or Articulate will be an advantage.
