• Santam Claims has a position available for a Non-Motor Desktop Assessor High Net-Worth (HNW) within Tailored Claims Solutions, based in Parktown, Johannesburg, Hill On Empire Offices.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

• The purpose of this position is to determine the quantum and merit of segmented non motor claims by performing investigations, verifying the description of the event with the loss, negotiation (with client, intermediary, service providers) and settlement of claims within a delegated threshold and according to contract conditions.
• This role is dedicated to managing insurance claims for high-net-worth clients, demanding accuracy, discretion, and a high level of professionalism.

WHAT WILL MAKE YOU SUCCESSFUL

• Act as the primary claims expert for high-net-worth clients, ensuring each claim is managed with precision, discretion, and efficiency from first notification to settlement.
• Deliver high-touch service by engaging directly with insureds, brokers, and executive-level stakeholders, anticipating needs and resolving queries promptly.
• Exercise sound judgement in assessing, quantifying, and negotiating high-value losses, drawing on deep insurance knowledge and advanced analytical capabilities.
• Drive innovation by leveraging digital assessment tools and interpreting data insights to enhance claim outcomes and client satisfaction.
• Safeguard the integrity of the claims portfolio through proactive identification of fraud, loss recovery opportunities, and adherence to regulatory standards.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Matric/ Grade 12
• Short-Term Insurance qualification – NQF5.
• Minimum 3–5 years experience in a short-term claims environment, with demonstrable success in managing high-value personal lines claims for high-net-worth clients.
• Demonstrated proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint, coupled with experience in digital assessment tools and claims management platforms. Familiarity with AI-driven technologies such as Copilot or equivalent solutions is considered an asset, facilitating innovation and digital transformation in claims processing.
