Masters degree in Bioinformatics, Genomics or a related scientific domain or Postgraduate qualification in project management with evidence of exposure to Bioinformatics and/or Genomics
3 years of working experience in the bioinformatics/genomics field with demonstrated project management experience or 3 years working experience in project management with demonstrated exposure to bioinformatics/genomics
Evidence of organizational, administrative and time management skills
MS Office Suite, G-suite applications (especially Word and Excel, google sheets, google docs, forms)
Experience with stakeholder engagement and fostering collaboration
Good communication and written skills
Advantageous:
Knowledge of data models and experience in data harmonization
Knowledge of updating websites, creating online forms, use of social networking platforms
Responsibilities:
Manage the project activities, monitor deliverables and compile reports
Convene and coordinate regular project and stakeholder meetings
Manage the development of the analysis pipelines and computational infrastructure
Coordinate phenotype data harmonization
Manage the environment, policies and agreements for data access
Coordinate collaborative research projects
Manage the web site, social media and communications
Disseminate project outputs through presentations and publications
