    Sales Executive SSA - Port Elizabeth

    The role will be based in Port Elizabeth, South Africa and will report to the Regional manager Ingredients SSA. There will be a dotted line report into the GM, SSA who is based in Port Elizabeth.

    KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

    The geographical scope of the business includes the full territory of Sub-Saharan Africa. The business has strong positions currently in Senegal / Niger / Burkina Faso / Nigeria as well as other African markets.

    The candidate will be expected to work as part of a commercial team.

    • Collaboration and Strategic Delivery To work with wider team in implementing 5 years strategy and ensure that there is cross functional collaboration to achieve the same and meet the sales strategy for the Dairy portfolio (Cheddar / Milk Powders / Butter etc)
    • Responsible for Client Management, Managing relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs, addressing concerns, and ensuring client satisfaction to foster long-term partnerships.
    • Responsible for Sales and Business Development Generating leads, identifying new business opportunities, and nurturing client relationships to drive sales growth.
    • The role is required to work on Market Research, Conducting market research and analysis to understand consumer trends, competitor activities, and market demands.
    • Negotiating contracts, deals, and agreements with clients or vendors to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
    • Maintaining in-depth knowledge of the company's products or services to effectively promote and sell them to potential clients.
    • Collaborating with the wider sales team to develop effective sales strategies, pricing policies, and promotional plans.
    • Tracking sales performance, preparing sales reports, and analysing data to assess progress and identify areas for improvement.
    • Providing support to clients before, during, and after sales to address inquiries, resolve issues, and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
    • Ensuring adherence to legal and regulatory requirements in all commercial activities and transactions.

    KEY REQUIREMENTS:

    • Relevant work experience 1-3 years
    • Willing to learn & Ready to take challenges
    • Self Motivated
    • Dairy ingredient sales experience (Preferred)
    • Excellent English French (working proficiency) communication, interpersonal, presentation and negotiation skills.
    • Strong quant skills and experience of interpreting management accounts.
    • Travel as per business requirement
