Job Purpose
To provide actuarial solutions to internal and external clients within Nedbank Insurance. The Nedbank Insurance Corporate Actuarial team provides business with a range of services, offering new team members the opportunity to gain experience across a broad range of functions. The key focus of these roles within the team is on enabling Nedbank Insurance to amend and enhance it's forecasting reporting.
Job Responsibilities
Developing an understanding of the current reporting processes (Forecasting)
Prototyping solutions to meet the standard requirements.
Implement the relevant solutions.
In carrying out these responsibilities, team members interact with the Nedbank Insurance Finance (actuarial and accounting) team, as well as members of the broader Nedbank Group involved in forecasting projects.

Essential Qualifications - NQF Level
Advanced Diplomas/National 1st Degrees

Bachelor of Commerce , Bachelor of Science

Minimum Experience Level
3 - 6 years in the Actuarial field - preferably in either the short-term or the long-term industry, specifically in SAM, SVM, IFRS or EV reporting.
Prophet, DCS, ResQ or R experience will be an advantage.
