Key Responsibility Areas

• Provides advice/information and guidance on the principles, procedures and applications associated with basic or average complexity Engineering processes encapsulated in specific projects of a broadly defined nature.
• Applies principles and techniques associated with the development and presentation of technical designs.
• Coordinating sequences associated with the preparation collation of contract documentation and/ or the evaluation tender applications.
• Controls the implementation/ outcomes associated with time, quality and cost of specific basic and average complexity Engineering contracts.
• Disseminates information on the professional and technical aspects of engineering design concepts and provides reports detailing interventions and outcomes.
• Preparing correspondence, reports and/ or verifying the content of reports prepared by Technical Personnel.

Essential Requirements

• Bachelor of Technology or Advanced Diploma (NQF Level 7) or equivalent in Civil Engineering.
• Registration as a Professional Technologist (Pr. Technologist) with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA).
• Valid motor vehicle driving license.
• 3 Years relevant post qualification experience
