• Creation of architecture artifacts for projects relating to Physical and Virtual Infrastructure (incl. Cloud solutions) that describes the implementation objectives and approaches. 
• Cloud Experience: Azure/AWS/GCP/Snowflake 
• End-to-end technology architecture design 
• Define data management processes 
• Define Systems management processes 
• Define Business continuity processes 
• Provide consultancy to operations and projects: 
• Development of solution designs 
• Specialised troubleshooting   
• Advise on solution options 
• Guide the design and preparation of the solution for production-readiness 
• Cost the solution and advise on SLA attainability 
• Develop and Maintain Architecture standards. 
• Define and document On-Prem, Cloud Native, Hybrid-Cloud and Multi-Cloud architecture integration patterns. 
• Advise on Security, Networking, and other foundational elements in consultation with solution SME’s 
• Develop and Maintain Cloud decision tree for Cloud readiness evaluations. 
• Conduct research and positioning of new technologies, industry trends and industry focus areas. 
• Optimise infrastructure, Processes, and Costing. 
• Unlock infrastructure cost containment across on-prem and cloud technologies. 
• Perform technology solutions’ risk assessment and mitigation planning. 
• Advise on and assist with continuity planning and DR architecture, capacity, availability and performance planning and service level management. 
• Calculate the cost of implementation and on-going support for solutions. 
• Deliver health checks on implementations. 

Perform Cloud migration due-diligence and produce necessary artifacts such as: 

• As-Is Overviews 
• To-Be Overviews 
• Migration implementation approach 
• Sequence of events 
• Costing (Once-Off and On-Going) 
• Perform Technology roadmap planning relating to technology solutions. 
• Assist in the establishment and enforcement of related architectural governance and ensure alignment with the Enterprise Architecture frameworks. 
• Participate in the execution of architectural consultation and review functions including due diligence (RFI and RFP) investigations.
