What You’ll Be Doing
Apply advanced mathematics, statistics, and data mining techniques to extract valuable insights from data.
Build and deploy robust analytics and machine learning models using modern programming tools.
Interpret complex data and translate it into clear, actionable information for non-technical audiences.
Craft compelling data stories through easy-to-understand visuals, reports, and presentations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to craft strategies that rely on data-driven thinking.
Mentor junior team members and contribute to a culture of knowledge-sharing.
Stay curious and current with the latest advancements in AI and data science.
Manage multiple projects with attention to detail and deliver high-quality work within deadlines
What You’ll Bring
A bachelor’s degree in data science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field
At least 5 years’ experience in data science, or similar role
Strong storytelling with the ability to convert data into business insights & recommendation is key
Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and relational databases.
Practical experience with ML/AI frameworks and open-source data science tools.
Familiarity with natural language processing (NLP) is a plus.
Knowledge of version control (Git) and collaborative tools.
Hands-on experience with cloud technologies, especially AWS (S3, EC2, SageMaker).
Experience with Jupyter, Snowflake, Docker, and the Atlassian suite (Bitbucket, JIRA, Confluence).
Proficient in data governance and standard methodologies for data management.
Excellent communication skills — you know how to break down complex concepts so everyone understands the insights and next steps.
Someone who demonstrates curiosity and optimally communicates stories through data to encourage action.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
