    Senior Manager Retail Activations

    Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organisation:

    • Directly contribute to the growth, elevation and activation of all retail channels (Own Retail, Franchise and Wholesale), by planning, developing and enabling exceptional campaign activations, consumer experiences and in-store / mall activations across Emerging Markets.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Pre-season and in-season retail calendar planning support and management
    • Provide clear guidance on Global retail marketing toolkits to enable flawless execution of all Campaigns/Activations across Own Retail, Franchise and Wholesale.
    • Elevate EM adaptations of Global toolkits to meet market needs and requirements.
    • Ensure campaign targets defined, evaluated and met and are within budget and optimized.
    • Feedback on the performance of global campaigns to the Global retail activations and Business unit teams
    • Drive retail campaign and activation reporting in line with the Emerging Marketings campaign GTM process.
    • Drive and support the creation and activation of market relevant local and cultural moments/ campaigns
    • Be knowledgeable about the targets and performance of EM stores, understand which Retail Marketing levels need to be activated to impact which KPIs and propose how to activate them as needed.
    • Work closely and cross-functionally with the country cluster Retail teams to pro-actively assess any performance issues and develop the tactical retail marketing solutions that might be needed to address these.
    • Identify optimal retail marketing agencies and/or vendors both in terms of output and cost.
    • Co-create and drive transparent, up to date MWB management processes and tools. This includes input into annual MWB planning process.
    • Lead, manage and take ownership for the team, ensuring all team members have the knowledge and practical skills required while promoting an inclusively and high-performance culture by setting clear expectations and individual goals.
    • Define individual training and development requirements for each team member.
    • Evaluate the competencies of his/her team members on a regular basis and provide prompt and constructive feedback.

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

    • In-depth knowledge of the industry, market trends, and marketing/activation strategies
    • Ability to speak, read and write English fluently.
    • Solid business acumen and in-depth knowledge of Retail KPIs
    • Highly creative and numerate with the ability to understand and analyze data and produce actionable insights and solutions
    • Solid interpersonal, networking and negotiating skills
    • Strong leadership, problem-solving and decision-making abilities
    • Strong presentation skills
    • Ability to travel both domestic and internationally as needed
    • Proficiency in MS Office applications Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint

    Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

    • University degree in business, ideally with a marketing and sales focus or equivalent professional experience
    • 8+ years of functional experience in merchandising/product, marketing, sales/retail required, ideally in sporting goods, fashion or other youth culture brands
    • Minimum 3 years team management experience
