Senior Professional Officer - Senior Structural Engineer
A Bachelor Degree in the civil engineering field: BSc Eng. or B Eng. (Civil Engineering).
Post graduate qualification in structural or coastal engineering
Professional registration (Pr. Eng.) with ECSA.
5 - 8 years relevant post registration experience at an appropriate level.
Post qualification experience in the design and management of coastal and marine structure projects critical
Working Knowledge of Marine Structural design, analysis and review (concrete, steel and timber) skills and associated experience throughout the project lifecycle.
A valid Code B driver’s licence
Computer literacy: MS Office, Prokon; AutoCAD (Civil 3D); MS Project/ Primavera P6
Key Performance Areas
Provide professional engineering services towards the scoping and feasibility design of all Capital Coastal Infrastructure initiatives, including the concept and details design of coastal infrastructure repairs and refurbishments.
Manage, develop and/or implement coastal projects in order to meet the requirements for the project as well perform project tracking and monitoring functions and assess/analysis results obtained to optimize implementation and execution
