Snr Industrial Engineer (Afrimat Shared Service) at Afrimat

Minimum Qualifications / Experience

• BEng/BSc Degree in Industrial Engineering (or similar/relevant);
• Based in Centurion, Lyttelton Dolomite Mine
• Willing to travel to various Afrimat sites
• Have own vehicle and driver’s license
• Willing and fast learner, with a self-driven attitude
• More than 5 years’ experience (Mining experience will be advantageous)
• The candidate must be medically fit in terms the Mine Health and Safety Act.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Form part of multiple continuous improvement projects across Afrimat
• Assist in improving operational efficiency across the business
• Implement operational technologies to assist with data gathering
• Ensure fast tracking multiple continuous improvement initiatives
• Attend site meetings to understand system and operational requirements/challenges
• Offer post implementation support and maintenance of operational technologies
