• To adopt a holistic view to children in their care, promoting the general progress and well-being of individuals and of any class or group assigned to them.
• To create a positive learning environment and motivate children to achieve their full potential

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Supporting Roles

• Attendance at all formal school events as indicated by the Executive Head.
• Organisation of field trips.
• Organising guest speakers and presenters as relates to the field of English and Drama

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

• Have a relevant degree and teaching qualification
• Be registered with SACE
• Have a strong connection with children
• Have proven excellence in teaching English
• Be energetic and proactive
• Exhibit strong communication skills
• Enjoy supporting and contributing to the success of teams

• Have excellent administration skills and a ready attention to detail.
• Be ready to contribute to the extra-mural (afternoon) programme.
• Be willing to organise / attend camps as per school requirements
• Be available for Regional and National conferences or other training as required
